I'm not sure if that showed or not suring my lesson, but I always feel intimidated more by peers than actual students. I really enjoyed the demo lesson, because the book has so many activity ideas. I am not the best in math, so I feel very uncomfrtable in teaching it, the textbook helped ease alot of that worry by giving so many examples. I think the lesson went well for the msot part, however I should have slowed down a lot more and took my time explaing each activity in further detail. As for your nerves, you did a great job of hiding them because I couldn't tell at all! You teach with confidence and do a great job. I really enjoyed the book that you used for your lesson. It was a great tool for kids to better understand the concept of huge numbers! I also liked the "Cherry Farmer." My favorite part was the book which gave the immense numbers a concrete anchor for the kids.  The Cherry Farmer was fun  too and you could expand it so much.  The little Hi Ho Cherrio game has tiny cherries (and can be found for $5 most of the time) and a dollar store dump truck could make it so game like that they wouldn't know you were even teaching. I loved your lesson!  The Cherry activity was so much fun.  I couldn't tell you were nervous.  It went so well.  I think that you did so great with having to one of the first ones to go.
