I thought I would be more nervous when I got up there but once I got into the material it was fun to teach.<br \/>\nI think it would have been good to have had an example of each type of fraction model with my activities. I also should have been able to point out which type of model each activity was showing. This would have been beneficial for me and for the students.<br \/>\nAfter Ashely did her grouping on the board with the buttons I could have talked about what would happen if we had one left over in one of the groups. That would have allowed her to explore her idea and possibly learn more from the lesson. My favorite activities came from the way you taught &quot;set.&quot; In both the button activities and using the students (4 brown hair, 2 blonde) you gave us very visual ways to understand just what you were looking for. I also really liked the 2nd virtual manipulative that you used.
