I was very nervous about doing my lesson because I wanted to make sure I presented the multiplication and division strategies correct and in a way everyone could understand. I spent so much time going over them to make sure I had everything down and knew what I was talking about because they were difficult to comprehend at first. Once I got started with the lesson I think everything went smoothly, and my nervousness started to disappear. My worry was replaced with fraction computation! I feel as though I explained the activities well and allowed time for questions. However, I do need to work on having confidence to tackle the harder stuff. There are going to be times when I am going to have to teach harder concepts to my students, but I need to have confidence I can do it if I expect my students to have confidence. Overall, I feel as if the lesson went well, and I presented the activities well.","replyPages":[{"page":0,"digests":[{"id":"43643268","body":"Ashley, I think that you did a wonderful job during your demo lesson. I gained alot of new knowledge and strategies about fractions that I had never before been taught. Honestly, it was like a door was open for me and I was forced to think in a different ways than I was use to.
