I was very pleased with the class participation and the overall flow from activity to activity. Personally, I think I chose a good variety of graphs and manipulatives to really get the point of statistics across, as well as displaying and using multiple visual aids for demonstrating the specifics. I feel that my opening story from \u201cFrog and Toad\u201d was a great selection that allowed for an in-depth follow up activity, in which the class was introduced to a Venn diagram. Within the Venn diagram, they were then instructed to classify the buttons in their correct category. I also believed that the \u201cLeveling the Bars\u201d activity was a great way to let students visually find the mean. They could physically see that they were \u201cbalancing\u201d or \u201cequally dividing\u201d the candy and I believe that kids would quickly pick up on this.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nWhen teaching this lesson in the future, there are a couple of things that I would change. First, when using the pin graph\/tally chart, I would use stronger magnets or find a place to hang the chart in the room. When the chart started to slide, it through me off, and would have been much more effective, had I been able to display the data correctly. Secondly, I would have allowed for more one to one interaction and assessment within my lesson. I don\u2019t feel as if I planned accurately in this area, and would better incorporate several of the assessment techniques that we have learned, in the future. Also, I failed to review the GLE\u2019s at the end of my lesson, but again this is something that will (hopefully) become more natural in the future.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nOverall, I am pleased with the results of my lesson.
