Everyone was very positive during my lesson and some even after I was finish sent me praises. I want to send a Thank you to all of my classmates and Dr. Suters for the support system we surround ourselves in! The preparation was a long process yet it all paid off. When you get infront of the class time flies! All 4 activities went smoothly however I had a bit of a stumble in my last activity"Quick Image" yet pulled it together at the end. I enjoyed observing everyones geoboard symmetrical shapes. I thought I would be more nervous when I got up there but once I got into the material it was fun to teach.
\nI think it would have been good to have had an example of each type of fraction model with my activities. I also should have been able to point out which type of model each activity was showing. This would have been beneficial for me and for the students.
\nAfter Ashely did her grouping on the board with the buttons I could have talked about what would happen if we had one left over in one of the groups. That would have allowed her to explore her idea and possibly learn more from the lesson. I also think I could have reinforced the idea that each grouping is considered one thing.

The textbook has a wealth of activity ideas, which helped make the assignment more managable, however, I could have presented each of the acticities more towards the grade I had chosen to present. The demo lesson definitely gave me an idea on how to introduce new topics in math to student by using literature, steps in leading them through the topic, and activities to teach with.
